Absolutely. Even though it looks old fashioned, the Neo Georgian 6 works perfectly with standard gas boilers and modern central heating systems. It uses standard pipe connections just like a regular white panel radiator.
Does cast iron heat up quickly?
Cast iron takes a little longer to heat up than steel, usually about 20 minutes. The benefit is that it has excellent heat retention. It stays hot for hours after you turn your central heating off, which keeps your room warm for longer.
What valves do I need for this radiator?
You need angled or straight radiator valves depending on your pipework. We recommend Thermostatic Radiator Valves, also called TRVs. These smart valves sense the room temperature and adjust the heat automatically to save you money on energy bills.
How is the radiator delivered to me?
Smaller radiators arrive fully assembled on a pallet. If you order a very long radiator over 1200mm, it may arrive in two or three parts. This makes it safer to carry into your house.
How do I join a radiator that comes in parts?
If your radiator arrives in parts, we provide a joining tool. Your plumber or installer will use this tool to screw the sections together with a watertight seal. It is a standard job for a professional heating engineer.
