Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Reina Dimaro 1760x620 radiator?

The Reina Dimaro is a tall vertical designer radiator made from high quality mild steel. It is 1760mm high and 620mm wide. It features a unique twisted bar design that looks like modern art. It connects to your central heating system to warm your room while looking stylish.

Why should I choose a vertical radiator like this one?

Vertical radiators save wall space. Because the Reina Dimaro stands upright, it fits on narrow walls where wide radiators cannot go. This makes it perfect for kitchens, hallways, or next to patio doors. It gives you more room for furniture.

Does the Reina Dimaro produce enough heat for a living room?

Yes, it is very powerful for its size. The Anthracite and White models produce approximately 3447 BTUs (1011 Watts). This is usually enough to heat a medium sized living room or dining area comfortably.

Why does the Chrome model have a lower heat output?

Chrome finishes act like a mirror and trap some heat inside the metal. The Chrome Reina Dimaro gives out about 2850 BTUs. If you need maximum warmth for a cold room, choose the Anthracite or White model instead.

What valves do I need to buy for this radiator?

This radiator has side connections. You usually need Angled Valves if your pipes come out of the wall. You need Straight Valves if your pipes come up from the floor. The valves are sold separately.

Does this radiator come with a warranty?

Yes. The Reina Dimaro comes with a 5 Year Manufacturer Guarantee. This covers you against manufacturing defects like leaks or rust. It gives you peace of mind that you are buying a quality product.

Can I install the Reina Dimaro on a plasterboard wall?

It is possible but you must be careful. This is a heavy radiator made of mild steel. You should screw the brackets into the wooden studs behind the plasterboard. Do not hang it on plasterboard alone or it might fall.

What is the distance between the pipe centres?

The pipe centres are 620mm apart. This means your water pipes need to be exactly 620mm apart to fit the radiator connections perfectly. Tell your plumber this measurement before they start work.

How far does it stick out from the wall?

The radiator projects between 99mm and 114mm from the wall. The wall to pipe centre distance is 61mm to 76mm. This leaves enough space for air to flow behind it, which helps heat the room efficiently.

How do I clean the twisted bars of the Dimaro?

Cleaning is easy. Use a feather duster or a soft dry cloth to wipe dust off the curves. Do not use wet sponges or harsh chemical sprays, especially on Chrome, as this can damage the shiny finish.

Is this radiator compatible with all UK heating systems?

Yes. The Reina Dimaro works with all standard UK central heating systems. It works just like a normal radiator but looks much better. It is not an electric only radiator; it needs hot water from your boiler.

Does the radiator come with wall brackets?

Yes. The box includes four wall brackets, an air vent, and a blanking plug. You only need to buy the valves and pipe covers separately. Everything else for hanging it on the wall is included.

Why is my radiator cold at the top?

If the bottom is hot but the top is cold, air is trapped inside. You need to bleed the radiator. Use a radiator key to slightly open the air vent at the top until you hear a hiss. Close it when water starts to come out.
